Welcome to Bishop David Sheppard Children’s Centre.

We are a Phase 2 Sure Start Children’s Centre, based in the High Park area of Southport, we officially opened on 8th March 2008. We provide a wide range of services and support for families with children under 5, living in Southport, Merseyside.

We have a variety of regular groups such as Coffee Morning, Parent and Toddler groups, Baby Health Club, weaning groups, ante natal and post natal  groups, family support, smoking cessation support, and much more!

We run a variety of different activities to meet the needs of families with young children. 

We can  provide one to one advice, and signpost you to help with problems such as debt management and benefits advice. We are here to provide a listening ear and support you and your family during difficult times.

Come along, meet the staff and have a look round for yourself. There will be lots for you and your family to do.

The centre is open, from 8.30am to 4.15pm Monday to Friday, all year round (except between Christmas and New Year).
