Winmarleigh Hall 2011
Year 6 pupils had a wonderful time at Winmarleigh Hall this spring, as you can see from the photographs below.
Day one - The Vertical Challenge and the Zip Wire
After their arrival, and a spot of lunch, the pupils got stuck straight into things with two flying activities: the vertical challenge and zip wire platform. A head for heights was essential!
Day two (morning) - Archery and the Sensory Trail
After a good nights' sleep (for some anyway), day two started with more down to earth activities. Whilst one group got to grips with their archery practice, the other hit the "Sensory Trail", with blindfolded pupils relying on their friends to guide them arround the course.
Day 2 (afternoon) - Quad Biking and Abseiling
After lunch it was a return to high-flying as the pupils tackled abseiling and quad biking.
Day two evening challenge - build your own shelter
Day two ended with a group challenge - to build their own shelters. Luckily, a bed indoors awaited them!
Day three - Jacobs Ladder and the Giant Swing
Defying gravity once again, day three saw the pupils takling Jacobs Ladder and a Giant Swing. With just enough time for a spot of lunch before returning home.
