Children's University 2017

Some of our year 6 children graduated from Children's University last Monday. The children had a fantastic afternoon and even got to wear a cap and gown. Those who took part received a certificate for the dedication they have shown to after-school activities throughout their Key Stage 2 life. Congratulations to all the graduates.

Year 6 Residential- London

The Year 6 children had an amazing time in London for their residential. The children got the chance to experience so many new and exciting things and it’s a trip that they will never forget. We visited the Natural History Museum and Science Museum as well as the Tower of London. We travelled down the River Thames on a river boat cruise and rode the London Eye. We also got to watch the marvellous musical Matilda. Below is a selection of photographs of all the wonderful things we got to do whilst there.

World Book Day 2017

The children in year 6 had a great day dressing up as characters from their favourite books. A big well done to all the children who took part!

Year 6 Collective Worship

Each week a group of children in year 6 create and present a collective worship for the class. Please look at our powerpoint to see what we did.

The Narnia Experience at St George's Hall

On our recent trip to St George's Hall, we were able to experience stepping into the fictional world of Narnia. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and it helped bring the book to life for us. We are now working on creating some fantastic art work as well as descriptive pieces of writing which we hope to share soon on the website. Please keep a look out for our work.

The Arrival

Using the book, The Arrival, the children have created descriptive stories which tell of their journey through a new and mysterious town. The children created videos to accompany their work.
