I’m writing on behalf of St Simon’s church family to let you know ways we might be able to help in the face of current Coronavirus pandemic. Unfortunately as a church we need to stop all our in-person public gatherings to help slow the spread of the virus. However, we still want to offer help and support in the following two ways:
- If you find yourself needing to self-isolate without family and friends to offer practical support, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 01704 507453. We’ll do our best to help by picking up shopping, prescriptions, running errands, offering prayer and being a listening ear.
- Every Sunday a service will be streamed online. Follow the new St Simon’s Facebook page (@stsimonandstjudewithallsouls) or YouTube channel (search for St Simon and St Jude with All Souls) to access our weekly services. Both of these pages, and our website, will also be updated regularly with content that speaks hope into the current situation.
Please don’t hesitate to be in touch and be assured that St Simon’s are praying for you and our community at this time.
With love and prayers
Rev Andy Liggins
