At Bishop David Sheppard CE (A) Primary School, the safety and welfare of all children is paramount. Ensuring that all children are safe and happy while learning lies at the heart of all we do.

We keep children safe by:

• Providing a high quality curriculum for PSHE, online safety, and RSE which is contextualised to local issues
• Having robust procedures to deal with bullying and cyber-bullying
• Listening to children when they have concerns and supporting them appropriately
• Working closely with families to strengthen them through effective parent partnership
• Working effectively with other agencies to support children and families
• Supporting early intervention to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
• Ensuring a well-trained and highly skilled workforce to support our children and families
