Roman Day - 27th September 2019
Today, we were visited by a Roman soldier. We had such a fantastic day learning all about life in Roman Britain. We learnt all about the Roman army, food, entertainment, health and hygiene. We even found out about Roman toilets which we found particularly funny! During the day, we became Roman soldiers and learnt how to form a testudo to protect ourselves from attack. Ask us all about it.
Science - Digestive System
This term, we have been finding out about the digestive system. We had fun showing the journey of our food through the body. Ask us all about it.
Along with the whole school, Year 4 had a great time creating their own poems based on ‘The Tyger’ by William Blake. We performed the poem as a class in a school assembly and spent time creating beautiful artwork based around the poem.
